SA Sun 16/06 - 16/06 McLaren Districts Riding Club Derby Day showjumping competition Advert No. 143954 Come and try our jumping course set in the rec grounds combining both show jumping and cross-country fences. There are approximately 15-18 obstacles on varied terrain, and include the bank, roll top, brush fence, and apex, plus show jumps. The Derby Day provides a cross-training opportunity for both horse and rider, regardless of your equestrian discipline, and provides a safe venue for new competitors, green horses, as well as a schooling opportunity for the experienced competitor. With 3 levels from: 35 - 50 cm, 50 - 65 cm, 65 - 80 cm, there are opportunities for everyone! $20 per round for members, $25 per round for non-members. $20 day membership for non-members. All riders must wear an approved helmet, flat soled riding boots and an EA-approved body protector. All horses must wear front boots. SA Sun 30/06 Salisbury Hunt Club - “Werocata” Advert No. 144072 This weekend we are hunting at “Werocata” located at Balaklava. This is listed on our program as a camp-over. However, if you would like to just join us on the Sunday you are more than welcome. Please contact Renee for further information of camping. This run has no compulsory jumps. There are a mix of natural jumps and post and rail jumps in different heights. This is formal hunt, dress is a jacket preferably navy or tweed jackets (blacks and “pinks” by invitation of the master) White or beige breeches/jodhpurs, white shirt and stock and approved boots and helmet. SA Sun 30/06 - 30/06 MDRC Rally Day Advert No. 143310 Come and ride in our relaxed and supportive environment our mid-year "Member's Choice" rally day. Open to all ages and abilities - horses may be ridden or led. Do flatwork or groundwork in the arena, round yard, or the rest of the grounds, use our poles and low showjumps, or have a go at some of our obstacles. Ride or just bring your horse for a look, and meet our committee and club members. Find a bargain at our second-hand tack sale – all items for gold coin donation unless marked otherwise. EA helmet tagging will be available from 9:30am to 10:00am. Riders/participants must wear approved helmets, flat soled riding boots, and a suitable body protector if jumping. Horses must wear front boots if jumping. All attendees need to sign in on arrival and we ask anyone participating on the day to please help set up and pack away the equipment. Born in Europe and with over 30 years of experience as an equine professional working in top showjumping stables across Switzerland to exposure working with some of Europe's well respected dressage trainers including working alongside national breed assessors of warmbloods. Rylana has developed a keen eye to her rider and horse biomechanics. Rylana has been coached by Nuno Oliviera's grandson Goncalo, as well as training under Manolo Mendez and follows the same principles and believes training should be fun, light and correct. With experience in handing foals to stallions and training in classical principles, you will benefit having a weekend of immersive learning and connection with you and your horse.
