GOVERNMENT BRIEFING ON EI

Horse SA is coordinating a briefing of senior government officials from a range of government departments to hear about how the EI situation is affecting us currently, and will more seriously, if EI reaches SA and another Stock Standstill is called. The briefing is scheduled for Thursday Oct 4th

APPRECIATION SAUSAGE SIZZLE

Horse SA & Thoroughbred Racing SA are sponsoring an "Appreciation Sausage Sizzle" for PIRSA staff who have been working in the State Emergency Disease Headquarters. A joint display between Adelaide City Council Archives and the SA Police Historical Society pays tribute to the contribution working horses have made to the City of Adelaide. http://www.adelaidecitycouncil.com/scripts/nc.dll?ADCC:STANDARD::pc=PC_35

Clubs could make this an outing, along with a picnic in the Adelaide City Parklands near the International Horse Trials permanent jumps. Suggested by Dr Kirrilly Thompson, Pegasus Pony Club
