PERFECT CHILDRENS LEAD REIN PONY. Elly is a 4 year old black miniature/shetland pony standing approx 9 hands high. She is fully broken to saddle, bridle and Harness. A compact little bundle with lots of love to give. Elly has a sweet temperament with no bite, kick or buck. I trust her 110% with my 4 year old daughter on her back and even just leading her around the paddock. My daughter has been riding (Walking/trotting) Elly from 18 months of age and they have developed a very close relationship so it is going to be hard to say goodbye. My daughter now needs a pony to take her a bit further up the ladder, and we can not afford to keep 2 horses. :-( Elly always comes home from shows with a handful of ribbons and a happy little girl. She is good to do anything with and doesn't shy at anything,. Elly is also cheap to run! She only eats 1/2 bucket of chaff with a few carrots for breakfast & a half a biscuit of hay for tea. (and she still looks great) Elly is still in full work but looks a little wooley at the moment. Elly comes with her rugs:- a quilted under rug and her canvas rug. She also will come with her bridle.
We are asking for $1000 for her and price is not negotiable as she is worth every cent. (and more) We just want to see Elly go on to a nice home where she will be loved as much as we have loved her and see her give another little girl (or boy) the confidence that she has give my daughter. 15.1hh chestnut tb mare, 28/10/03. By St. Petersburg (AUS) out of Lady Abstain (NZ). Only had 11 starts, been ott for approx 1 year and has been picking up her flatwork very quickly. Very pretty young mare, 3 socks with a star/stripe. 3 nice paces, can walk trot and canter on the bit. Established leg yield, rein back, turn on the forehand and started shoulder in. Great on the ground, not girthy at all, not a problem to bridle, good to shoe, superb floater, not bothered by traffic, dogs, sheep, alpacas, kids. Lovely nature, nice to have around, fine with other horses/alone (ridden or in paddock/yard) Great to lunge, works on voice commands. In lovely condition with a nice shiney coat, good topline and keeping the weight on well with minimal extra feeding. Since she is currently out of work due to rider's study committments, she needs a confident experienced rider seeing as she IS a young tb. I'm only 17 and she's my first ottb and she hasn't put me off at all. Would suit dressage/hacking. Only selling due to year 12 committments and have a new job so don't have the time that she needs, I don't like seeing her wasted in the paddock so have decided to sell her. Bear has been out on the roads, trails and along the road. Snaffle mouth, Excellent to wash, trim, worm, float (yes he just walks on!) easy to do anything with! Only vice, need a piece of snack or bucket to catch him, and he trotts to you. Bear double dinks, ride bareback etc., Bear is extremely fat, and in good nick and rugged. Good for child on or off lead rein, easy to ride by himself, happy to walk trott and with more effort canter. If a child loses their balance, Bear automically slows and stops. 17hh 9yo bay TB gelding with striking white markings. Matt finished racing approximately 2yrs ago and was spelled with a little pleasure riding until Feb 08 when I purchased him. In the past few months he has had a basic flatwork education and done a little jumping, learned to work on the bit and has begun leg yield in walk and trot. He has a big trot and a super smooth canter. This boy is a friendly, honest horse and is a pleasure to own. Matt has no vices, however as a horse who raced for some time I am looking for someone with experience riding these horses as he needs a rider capable of furthering his education. My intention was to begin to event him over the next few months, however I have moved back to the city and I simply don’t have the time or petrol funds to keep this boy in regular work. She has it all looks, movement to die (has a smooth,long powerful trot and a well balanced uphill canter) for and the willingness to learn and has natural head carriage she is good to wash, float, shoe, rug and lead she is good with other horses has been fed in the day yard with a 16.3hh T.B. gelding 16.3hh warmblood X and a 31' miniature and has never been nasty. She moves off your leg, has natural flying changes and comes down on the bit straight away she is also free lunging up to 90 cm with dazzle board’s and even rugs laying over it and has never refused and has rarely knocked a rail clears it with room to spare has also cleared a 120cm jump that I had out in my day yard when she was just playing I have also started training her around the barrels and she is showing just how versatile she is extremely quick to get going and can turn on a dime. She has an extremely soft mouth so she must go to a rider with soft hands as she stops at the slightest touch she is a quiet ride but can be a bit spooky around new things nothing major has been ridden by a confident 12 and 13 yo and they loved ridding her. Has had a cut on near side front hock so has a small scar only cosmetic does not affect her movement or soundness and a bit of makeup covers it easily. She attended her first show 27th April but was not competed I just rode her around the show grounds and nothing phased her she also stood calmly in her stall all day she also competed in her first open barrel competition at the Rodeo at Port Augusta on the 10th May was a bit unsure of the Bulls in the shoots and the loud music and crowd screaming but still went around the barrels calmly. Been on a 5 week spell and is now coming back in to full work. Selling as I don’t have the money to get her to the shows and I don’t want her talent wasted. She has a long flowing trot and even bigger uphill canter she has also been lunged over a few jumps at a trot up to 90cm and has showed she has a scopey clean jump and that she is very athletic she was brought in from the paddock September where she has been since she was a yearling so her handling has just resumed she is good to lunge, tie up, wash loves water, float, rug, catch and brush. Needs work picking up her feet I have been getting her use to boots so she is more trusting of me touching her legs now can be a bit pushy when being led but is slowly working out that she has to walk beside you not on you. I have also started her ground work to get her ready to be broken in has been saddled and bridled why being lunged and I have also started long reining her and she is extremly excepting and calm didn't even spook when dogs have came out at her, she will be going to the bracker as soon as I have the money. Once broken would be suitable for Showjumping, eventing and dressage could even make a nice heavey weight hack. He is an ideal pleasure horse / trail riding horse or companion. He is a really nice horse just needs a bit of work and love and attention. Ideal hassle free low matinence horse for someone wanting a easy ride or confidence booster. Walk trot canter with no problems. NO buck or rear. He doesn't at all look like an older fella has good topline, he does need a little more weight on at the moment but he is in healthy good paddock condition. I have no use for this fella anymore due to a health problem and no time he is only going to go to waste. Is in healthy paddock condition and being rugged. Up to date with all injections, feet, worming and gets vitamins daily. Is still being currently ridden by 16y/o girl. Great little shettie gelding for sale 5yro and roughly 10.2-11hh, jet black. Iv had this boy since he was a weanling and i was only 12 and have been able to do everything myself with him. Breaking him in gave me back my confidence riding! i just put a halter on him, jumped on and rode down the paddock no questions asked! He just doesn't give a fuss about anything, would probably take somebody less than a week to train him into a harness schoolmaster if they wanted, he just does what you ask of him no questions, he doesnt seem to see the point in acting up. Has always been shown in hand with success, bringing home ribbons and comments galore! When he was younger i used to get asked for his papers as proof of his age he was that quiet at shows! I have no time for my little boy now and dont see the justice in keeping him in my paddock any longer when he's never been able to have a little/young rider and is doing nothing except eat. So i would like him to go to an experienced home at first just to give him a proper education or so as he can be a lead rein pony for a while. He is extremely quiet but does have the get up and go if you ask for it, and the height to last a little kid a long time. Best personality you could ever find, not in your face, but always walks up and waits for his hug he's $1200

For Sale Black mare (Pebbles) aprox 17 years old between 14-15hh. I am selling due to lack of time and this mare needs more work. She will need to go to someone with a bit of experience as she does she can test you a little for a minute when you first get on. However once she settles down she is an angel and doesn't do this when she has a little more attention. She is also not the easiest horse to worm and she can also walk through fences if they aren't the best fence and she is hungery (not electric fences) However if she does manage to get caught in a fence she does stand there and wait for you to get her out. She is a very quiet horse, great trail riding etc nice relaxed girl in all area's. I am saying this as I am more interested in finding the right home for her than anything else. I am asking $1,000 but is negotiable. She is located at Maitland. I will be doing some work with her as soon as I can and taking some recent pictures (i have pictures but not recent ones).

Very pretty 15.1hh chesnut tb mare, 28/10/03 by St Petersburg (AUS) out of Lady Abstain (NZ), only had 11 starts, too slow. Been ott for approx 12 months. (photo taken after only a handfull of rides ott) Tatiana has 3 lovely paces, good conformation, soft mouth and a superb temperament. She's lovely to handle, not girthy at all, take the bit herself, a dream to float, catch, shoe, lunge (works on voice commands). Established walk trot and canter, works on the bit, leg yield, turn on the forehand, rein back, started shoulder in. Cantered bareback in a bikini only a few rides ott! Great with other horses, ridden alone and in company, ridden at the beach with 2 other horses, led on road numerous times not fazed by traffic, barking dogs, children, bicycles, alpacas, sheep etc. Keeps weight on well, currently in light work due to not having enough time to ride, in lovely condition, great shiney coat and well muscled. Microchipped, up to date with farrier, worming, vaccinations.
Forward moving and young so needs confident, experienced rider that will not be put off by a bit of young tb behaviour. Currently ridden by capable 17 year old. Suit dressage/hacking.
